This competition is promoted by The Secret Garden, whose registered office is: The Office, Miletree Lane, Wisbech, Cambs, PE13 4TR.

The competition is open to residents of any age currently residing in the United Kingdom.

Relatives and anyone otherwise connected with The Secret Garden or judging of the competition are not entitled to enter the competition.

The competition will run from 09:00 GMT on Thursday 1 June 2023 until 20:00 GMT on Tuesday 31 October 2023.

12 winners will be chosen by the judging team assigned to the competition. The top 12 photographs will all be featured in The Secret Garden calendar in 2024. There will be one overall winner, chosen by the judging team. The overall winner will win a £200.00 gift certificate for The Secret Garden.

The gift certificate is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The gift voucher can be used at The Potting Shed bar, in The Secret Garden shop or towards a stay on the campsite. The gift certificate is not valid to use for food or entertainment.

To enter the competition, users must tag The Secret Garden (@thesecretgardenwisbech) in a photograph of the campsite, entertainment venue, The Potting Shed or wider green spaces on the site, which show what The Secret Garden means to you. The photo can be tagged on Facebook or Instagram along with a suitable caption to describe the image.

Submissions must be made between 1 June 2023 – 31 October 2023. Any photos tagged before this time will not be entered.

Photos can be taken at any time during 2023, including months prior to the competition.

To be eligible to win the competition, the photograph must be an original photograph, taken by the person entering the competition or a member of their family/friendship group should there be circumstances where the person who took the photograph cannot upload it themselves.

If people are present in the photograph, particularly if children are shown, the person entering the competition must have permission from all those featured or from the relevant parent/guardian.

All entrants must keep the original image, which should be as high resolution as possible to ensure a high-quality print for the calendar (a photo taken on a smartphone is usually good enough to use) 

Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to The Secret Garden, Wisbech, to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites, social media and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.

Entries are not limited. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.

The winning entries will be those that are judged to be the most visually appealing, original and self-explanatory.

Winners will be notified via Direct Message from The Secret Garden’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts. Any details will be discussed via private message.

All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. All submissions will be entered into the competition. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
