ABOUT US
We are a relaxed, 11 acre, site of low occupation focusing on the study and
enjoyment of wildlife, and a real camping experience in the heart of the Fens.
Our site is designed around 2 features. The Garden, plots 1-5 and the Meadow plots 6- 10 which are serviced with water & electric hook up providing a 16 amp power supply & water to each pitch.
There are also 5 non serviced camping plots on the far side of the meadow,
and our camping Pod.
Adjacent we have Fen Park with 17 serviced pitches and 7 non serviced camping plots, this is also where the Tipi is situated. Fen Park has its own extensive landscaped play and exploring space, with the Maze, two picnic areas and the adventure/play field.
By providing a low occupation facility, we aim to offer a genuine “back to nature” camping experience in Cambridgeshire with top quality amenities where you can relax and enjoy your own space and have the freedom to explore all we offer on site.
To facilitate this all our pitches are equipped with fire pits. Logs and fire lighting equipment are available from the site shop.

ON SITE
On site we have a small herd of Gloucester Old Spot pigs from Bramblebee Farms and a diverse range of bird and mammal wildlife, including green & greater spotted woodpeckers, jays, barn owls, finches, hedgehogs, stoats, moles, hares, muntjac deer, foxes, voles and rabbits. Seasonal insects are also widespread on site, attracted by the nectar rich planting throughout the site, and the ongoing careful management of the meadow.
Other areas to enjoy are the mushroom picnic area, the meadow, the maze, Hobbit Hill, and the living green den, a willow play structure created by Livingwillow.
The award winning ales from our friends “Mile Tree Brewery” are available from the site shop, along with our famous Bramblebee Gloucester Old Spot sausages, local cider, jams and preserves.
Our Bushcraft workshop area is operated by Andrew Callaghan from ECHO company. To contact him or book a session please send him message on facebook. Fenland Apiaries also run workshops from the Secret Garden and can be contacted through their facebook page.
