WELCOME TO THE SECRET GARDEN
2020 has indeed presented significant challenges to seasonal tourism businesses throughout the country.....well in fact all over the world !
To be closed down at the start of our season in March and only able to reopen halfway through our season within a restrictive environment at the beginning of July has tested us, our staff, and our visitors.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support patience and understanding while we endeavour to operate the site facilities as safely as possible and hopefully to the standard you have become accustomed to.
Our visitor centre, bar and diner planned for opening at the beginning of our 2020 season has been put on hold for now, but with the brave new world in mind we have now developed our events area into a socially distanced beer garden with our bar serving Gin and spirits from Fenspirits, our on-site distillery, ales from Mile Tree Brewery and local cider from Watergull Orchards. This is further supported by a diverse food offering from our local street food vendors from throughout Fenland and Cambridgeshire with different food options every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the year, and we working with some of the very best !
So if you have attended one of our “Street Food at the Secret Beer Garden” evenings, we do hope you enjoy the atmosphere and everything on offer. We would be very pleased for your feedback and suggestions which will help us evolve this exciting new direction in the best possible way.
Again, many thanks for your continued support, stay safe and well for the rest of 2020 and we look forward to 2021
Lesley, Neil and The Secret Garden team.

Food & Craft Fair
Our sixth Midsummer food and craft Fair was on the 22nd of June 2019 and we had such a wonderful day!
Enjoyed by all who attended with over 1500 visitors on the day.
We are now planning for our next event and would be pleased to welcome more Fenland food & Craft stalls along on Saturday June the 20th 2020 demonstrating the diversity that Fenland has to offer.
If you have a product or a craft interest and would like to join us for this day please contact us to reserve a place.
Wisbech, the Capital of the Fens, is the perfect place for a day out or a break to get away from it all. Wisbech is renowned for its elegant Georgian architecture, a legacy from an era when the town was a booming trade centre. Stroll along the Brinks or round the Crescent to see some fine Georgian houses.
